So I have already missed the mark. Not by much, but still been over a week since I last wrote. It's going to take me a while to get in the mindset of needing to blog about something (maybe if I would spend less time on Facebook...)What made me think of it? Another funny Z moment. It went a little something like this...
Dinner time at the Griffith home and once again we are having something Z didn't think he would like. Cheesy chicken and veggie casserole topped with chicken stuffing. I know! Sounds yummy, right? Anyway, we are going to be watching some extra munchkins tonight and I was trying to hurry the process along a bit, starting a bit early so he had more time to nibble (pickiest eater EVER!). Z is convinced he doesn't like the food....going bite by bite telling us why he doesn't like broccoli, chicken, stuffing, etc. Finally he gets to the carrots. "I love carrots! But these are crunchy." He finally puts a bite in his mouth, making a face like he is chewing something absolutely disgusting. "See mom. Hear that crunching?" Before the next bite he says, "I think I'm allergic to this food." Smart booger. Too smart! Ugh!

Okay, so I've had some complaints that I'm not blogging enough, which is unarguably true since my last post was 8 months ago on the day I created the blog. I am going to try to be better in 2012. This is my New Year's Resolution, which is going to start a bit early. There are so many exciting things that are going to happen in the coming year and I want to share them! I could just kick myself in the pants (yes, I know Jenny. You told me so) for not documenting more this past year. With Eli being born and having so many firsts and Z using more funny phrases each day, it would have been wonderful not only to share with anyone who was curious, but also to be able to one day show the boys. So, here goes. Hold me to it please! At least one post a week. From this point forward. And if I don't, I want to hear about it!!
So, on that note, here's the noteworthy happenings of today. I just caught Z out on the balcony, which he frequently goes out there to play and it gets some fresh air in him so I usually don't mind, with his pants down peeing between the banisters. Holy Moly, kid! Really? How many times has Mommy told you that you can only pee outside without permission at Nana and Papa's house???? Luckily we live on the first floor so it didn't rain on anyone else's parade. Geesh!!
